This was a project where the client understood from the outset that the design stage wasn't overhead — it was the foundation. The decisions made at the design and planning stage determine the shape, size and structural logic of everything that gets built afterwards.
We worked through a detailed design process — surveys, design, planning application and Building Control preparation — before a single foundation went in. The build that followed had no surprises because the design had anticipated them.
